In the midst of a global pandemic our original plans for a fundraising event needed to be modified so our fundraising committee came up with the idea to host a virtual cocktail hour. The goal in addition to raising money to fund scholarships was to find a way to entice people to attend the event after working remotely all day, as well as to keep everyone’s interest for 90 minutes. Based on the feedback we received from the attendees it appears we were successful. The event consisted of a silent auction, guest speakers, 5 different tutorials by a bartender on how to make popular mixed drinks as well as a testimonial by a scholarship recipient. All in all it was a great time in addition to a successful event! Kids Chance of Massachusetts wants to thank you for your generous donations.
