Kids’ Chance of Massachusetts Scholarship Recipient

“”In May 2024, I graduated with High Distinction from the University of Virginia, earning a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. I was on the Dean’s List every semester, and graduated with a 3.7 GPA. I was a member of a number of organizations, including being the student manager for the men’s lacrosse team and being the head of graphic design for a student-run company, as well as working part-time for a sports media company.

Following my graduation, I have begun working at RTX (formerly Raytheon) in the Leadership Development Program, where I will participate in rotations across different business units as part of a two year program. In my first rotation, I am working in corporate strategy and internal consulting.

When my Dad passed away in April 2021, right at the end of my first year at college, I worried that I wouldn’t be able to afford continuing to attend UVA. Kids’ Chance of Massachusetts helped me to continue funding my college education, something that I can’t put into words how thankful I am for. I am excited to see how this organization will grow and continue to support students’ goals.”
